We finally have news on Ana’s projects! This time we bring Marta, as Ana’s character on Knives Out which had its trailer released today. We couldn’t be more excited on this new project as Marta has a lot of screen time on the trailer and the plot looks amazing! Check out the first official trailer, production stills and poster.
Seems like we won’t be seeing Ana’s character, Roxanne, on the current cut from Yesterday! Here’s why:
That was a very traumatic cut, because she was brilliant in it. I mean really radiant. And [that] turned out to be the problem. … I think the audience likes the story [about Ellie and Jack] and goes with that, and it works out well. What we’d originally done was had, I don’t want to describe it too much, but had Ana De Armas as a complicating factor when he arrived in L.A. for the first time. And I think the audience did not like the fact that his eyes even strayed. Because then some people would go, ‘Oh, he really doesn’t deserve her. He really doesn’t deserve Lily.’ You know, it’s one of those things where it’s some of our favorite scenes from the film, but we had to cut them for the sake of the whole.
Hopefully the cut-out version will be out too and we can see Ana’s character in full!
As to celebrate Ana’s and other cast members, Bond 25, made a Film Launch in Jamaica. Enjoy beautiful pictures of Ana on the event wonderfully wearing a beige laced dress by Rosario. You can find some interviews featuring Ana here, here, here and here. According to the interviews Ana’s character is called Paloma.
